People in rural, mostly tribal (Adiwasi) communities who live near the town of Khargone face challenges in getting basic utilities such as telecommunications. In the past, people in this village had to travel through the forest and cover around 8 km on foot to reach the main road for any type of connectivity.
The AirJaldi Khargone network team worked to establish a network connection there, setting up a relay dedicated for provision of connectivity to the village area. As a result, local community members are now able to use the internet for all their needs.
