My name is Ashish Alokar and I run this Setu Kendra (Electronic Services Centre) here at Churni, which is about 70 Km from the Chikhaldara Tehsil. AirJaldi’s internet connection has helped us a lot!!! There are about 42 villages in this region and all the villagers depend on this Setu Kendra due to its central location. Now, it has become so much easier to help people as I can do most of their mandatory e-government and citizens’ documentation works online right here! And because the internet connection is reliable, we don’t have to suffer unwanted stress or tension. Good connection and net speed from AirJaldi has helped children in their education also and the youth are better empowered due to a lot more options becoming available to them. I’ve been emboldened to start a State Bank of India Customer Care Centre (SBI CSC) along with the many other online services I provide here already. This in turn has rippled into the opening of 1500 bank accounts in just 3 months, a record for our villages since it was a huge ordeal for us to open bank accounts as we had to travel a distance of 80 Km to get to the main branch of the bank. There are 1500 more coming! Thank you AirJaldi, for helping Churni to get on the Digital bandwagon of the nation.
